The plans continue...

So my lovely mommy just sent me a bunch of LDS focused wedding planning books and they are amazing! My dress has been ordered and is on it's way and should be arriving around the end of January, beginning of February. Good stuff. Also, it's getting really cold here. It still only rains though, so that's good. No snow yet. I have heard my teachers say it's unusually warm for this time of year so I guess I brought some Arizona warmth up with me! I wish it would stay but alas, I fear it is not to be. Oh well.
Oh I have a funny story. The power in our living room doesn't work. At all. We sent in a work order yesterday but yeah no lights, no electricity...nothing. So yeah. Schooo is going well. Sort of. I'm working my buns off and getting ok grades, but I have a system now and hopefully the results will be better grades! And I'm still working at the MTC and making a little money. Half of which is going towards the amazing Disney honeymoon of my dreams! Which has been booked! YAY!!! I can't even say how excited I am. Things are moving along! Oh and also, I think I have picked out a style of wedding invite/announcement! Yay again!! Ok gotta get ready for ice cold church.

*ENGAGED*

Yes!! I'm finally engaged to the most wonderful man I have ever met besides my dad and brothers! And uncle's I guess ha ha! Anyways, I'm so excited! The date is May 8th, the colors are coral and silver (a bright, pinky-orange coral), and our honeymoon will be taking place in Disneyland! So no one is allowed there from May 9th through the 17th. Seriously.

Yes I know it's a long time away, but we are in school and want to get another semester done before the wedding. It will take place in the Mesa Temple and we are having an Open House in Snowflake a couple of days before and a reception at my parent's house the night of. More info will follow! Besides that exciting news, I have been settling in quite nicely. The trip to AZ made me feel much better. I miss you all! I can't wait to live there again!! Ok I'm gonna go, so I'll talk to you all later!

Life

Well things are looking up! I have a job. No I'm not cleaning toilets!....anymore. Ahem, anyways, I am officially the custodian for the MTC lobby! Yay for me! You should all come visit the MTC and see the glory of the sparkling clean lobby! So there's my income. My bishop is really nice and awesome but he isn't you, Daddy. I'm still missing you all like crazy. Yesterday I missed Chase really bad and I just want to tell him that I love you! You are a crazy little man. And you tell really cute stories and jokes. My apartment just had our monthly cleaning check and we passed. So that's good. Yeah but the velcro I use to hang pictures on my walls has an unfortunate side effect....ripping off the paint! Haha yeah. So I'll have to fix that up when I leave. I can't wait to come visit in two weeks! Oh Dad we didn't get me new tires! And what about tire chains?! I don't know how to drive in snow!!!! I'm going to DIE!!
So I'm trying to think of new stuff that has happened to tell you guys. Annie went on a date. Cole and I went to Lagoon and also the Museum of Ancient Life and guess what Stef? We bought Triops! And hatched them! And they are cute! Except then when Annie was cleaning the kitchen she knocked over the jar...so now we only have like 3 left. And they are all named Speck. Oh did I tell you all that the "year-round pool" is really freakin cold? As in when they say heated they mean they just set a glacier down and let it melt and throw ice cubes in it every day. That's what Utah means by "heated pool". But the hot tub is toasty so that's nice. Ok well that's about it! Love ya!

Settling in...

Ok. So it has been at times both fun and really really REALLY LAME!!! I feel like I am finally living here. I have showered in the bathroom. More than once, don't worry. I am finally washing my sheets right now and have worked out how to use the laundry room. I have been to all my classes twice. I have gone grocery shopping for myself! I have applied for jobs. I have my own cupboards and a shelf in the fridge. Oh yeah, it's pretty nice. Oh, and I have rearranged my closet about three times in order to make it the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing as I can. And it's cold!! Only in the mornings though. And yes Mom and Dad, I have indeed hurt myself. I have a bruise on my finger where it got jambed in my dresser drawer and I have blisters on my feet and a miscellaneous assortment of scrapes and cuts as usual. So nothing new there! My classes are all really good! The teachers are all really funny! So that's exciting. So far everything has been going...ok. I love you all!

BYU!

Well here I am! Up at BYU and not quite loving it yet! I'm sure that after a few weeks I'll be good but for now, not so thrilled. I'm getting my room all set up and it looks....pretty good! I'll send out pictures when I'm all done. I miss you guys all a lot and want to come home but I can't. Gotta get my edumacation. Well as everyone already knows, I got a ticket on the way up here. Yes, it's the first time I have ever gotten pulled over and I think that it's dumb that I didn't just get a warning but whatever! That man was just a poop. What makes me feel better is that Annie got a ticket on the way up too! So at least I'm not alone in that. Ok well I'm hungry so 'm going to go eat some leftovers from last night! Love you all!
